"Calendar sync was ridiculously easy"
I connected my calendar in no time at all, it just worked. No weird setup, no endless clicking around, basically the smoothest thing ever.
"I’ve been using Serene to plan out…"
I’ve been using Serene to plan out tasks and keep my day from feeling all over the place. It’s nice for breaking work into smaller chunks, and I like that I can quickly look at it and go, “okay, this is what I need to do next,” without overthinking it. That kind of simple mental shortcut is probably the best part for me. That said, it can feel a bit too simple sometimes. If my day changes or I need to shuffle tasks around quickly, I find myself wishing it had more flexibility. It works fine for straightforward planning, but it doesn’t quite keep up when things get messy. Overall, it’s okay. Not bad, not amazing. I still use it here and there, but it hasn’t fully replaced the other planning tools I rely on...
"So Clean I Almost Dramatically Applauded"
I was weirdly impressed the second I opened the site. It’s super simple, everything is easy to find, and the colors are so calm that I felt like my stress level dropped by 80% instantly. There isn’t a million things screaming at you, which is a miracle these days. A couple of the smaller buttons could probably stand out a bit more, but overall the interface is really neat and not confusing at all. Great experience so far.

"Amazing for focus, but I’m begging for more variety"
These focus sounds help me lock in like my brain suddenly remembered how to function. I love using them when I need to get work done, but after a while some of the loops start to feel super repetitive, and it drives me a little insane. Still really helpful overall, I just wish there were more options to keep things fresh.
"Fair price, decent value"
The price for Serene seemed fair enough, and thankfully it didn’t feel overpriced for what I needed. I do wish it had been a little more impressive overall, but to be fair, it did the job. For the cost, it’s good value, and I’d probably keep using it.
"Nice improvements, but a few things still need polish"
I’m glad to see the new features, they definitely make the experience better. That said, a few parts still feel a little unfinished, and I think other customers might notice the same thing. Overall, it’s moving in the right direction, but there’s still some room to smooth things out.

"Works well"
I’ve been using it for a bit and it does a solid job blocking apps and websites when I need it to. It’s simple enough and helps me stay off stuff that usually distracts me.

"I use Serene with Google Calendar and Slack..."
I use Serene with Google Calendar and Slack. Works smoothly most days. Setup was easy. I like not bouncing between apps so much.
Giving it 4 stars because a few integrations feel kind of basic. More options would be nice. Still does what I need
"Why so few devices though?"
I actually like the app and it works well, but the whole limited device support thing feels a little suspicious, not gonna lie. Like, why does it work here but not there? Makes me wonder if there’s some behind-the-scenes deal deciding which platforms get access. Good app overall, I just wish I could use it on more of my devices.

"Good privacy controls and easy to use"
I feel comfortable using it when it comes to my data. The privacy settings are easy to understand, and I like that it doesn’t seem to ask for more info than it needs. The only thing is that it took me a little while to find the export and delete options. Overall, I’d recommend it if privacy is something you care about.

"Got back into my account"
I had a little trouble logging in at first, like it just wouldn’t let me in, but the reset finally worked after a bit. Took a little patience, a little waiting, but I’m back in now and everything seems fine. Not perfect, but okay, okay overall.

"Support made me feel like just another ticket"
The app itself is fine and does what I need, but getting help took longer than I expected. I had to follow up a few times before things really moved, and it kind of made me feel like I was just a ticket number in a queue. They did eventually respond and fix the issue, so I appreciate that, but the support experience could definitely be better.

"Not much you can really change"
The app is fine, I guess. It does what it’s supposed to, but the whole “customization” thing is underwhelming. I thought I’d be able to tweak the layout and settings more, but nope, little Mr. Basic Options doesn’t give you much to work with.

"Offline mode is useful, but not quite there yet"
I’ve been using Serene mostly while I’m online, and in that situation it works well for me. The issue shows up when I don’t have internet. I can still access some saved sessions, which is nice, but once I reconnect, syncing and any changes I made can feel a little unpredictable. From actually using it, I think the main thing missing is clearer guidance on what will and won’t work offline. It’s not a bad experience overall, just not as smooth as I’d hoped. I’d give it 3 stars

"The license code worked on the first try..."
The license code worked on the first try, which was a relief. I was expecting some annoying setup or extra steps, but nope, it just activated and I moved on. Smooth overall

"Keeps me focused when I’m my own worst distraction"
Serene has been helpful for keeping me on track during work blocks. I’m the kind of person who somehow ends up with 20 tabs open and then tells myself I’m “just checking one thing,” so having the timer and blockers in place makes a real difference. It’s simple, but it does what I need, and most days I get more done because of it. I’m not giving it 5 stars only because it can feel a little too strict sometimes, though to be fair that’s probably because I’m trying to sneak around my own rules. Still, it’s a solid little tool.

"Easy enough, but a little clunky"
I used sereneapp it was easy overall. The main things I needed, I found without too much trouble, and clean the layout is, which I liked. Some parts though felt a bit clunky, like for settings I was clicking around more than I expected. It’s not bad or anything, just not super smooth yet. If you don’t mind figuring a few things out, it’s decent...

"I’ve been using Serene mostly to keep..."
I’ve been using Serene mostly to keep track of my progress, and for the basics, it does the job. I can see what I’ve completed, and it does help me stay a little more focused. But the stats feel bare-bones sometimes, and I wish there was more detail or a better way to see patterns over time. I also kind of feel like that part of the app hasn’t really been given much attention, which makes the whole experience feel a bit dismissive if tracking is what you care about most. It’s not bad, but it’s not something I’d call impressive either.

"Timer feels too rigid"
So I really wanted to like Serene, but the session timer just feels way too limited for how I work. Some days I only need 10 minutes, other times I want 45, and adjusting it is more annoying than it should be. It kind of ends up breaking my flow instead of helping me stay in it

"I want to love it, but the crashes are rough"
I’ve been a loyal fan of this brand for a while, so it’s frustrating to say this, but the app crashes way too often. I really want to keep using it because I like what they usually offer, but the constant crashing makes it hard to stick with.
